Your homepage should not explain everything

A homepage that answers every question is a homepage nobody finishes. Its job is to make one promise well.

Every stakeholder wants their section above the fold, and the compromise is a page that says nine things quietly instead of one thing clearly.

One promise, then proof

Lead with the single claim you would make if you had one sentence. Everything below it exists to make that claim credible: the work, the names, the numbers.

Let the deeper pages be deep

Detail is not the enemy. Detail on the homepage is. Give services and case studies the room to be thorough, and let the homepage do the one job only it can do.
